Patrick, 17, has represented Queensland Juniors in the 2012 National Goalball competition, with his team winning the competition undefeated and Patrick was chosen as the best player in the competition. He was also selected as the first reserve player for the Australian Youth team.

Patrick was born with a genetic eye condition however his long-term sporting goal is to represent Australia in the Paralympic Men’s team.

Patrick first tried Goalball through Sporting Wheelies and is receiving a introductory grant from Sporting Dreams to assist him in further training, development and transport.

His advice to other athletes is to keep training and you will succeed.
