Kanako is not only a track and field star, but she also plays as goal keeper in her field hockey club, and has represented Townsville in local competitions. Kanako is one tough young lady;with the removal of a benign brain tumour, and leaving her with right-sided weakness. Proving that nothing can stop her, Kanako’s sporting dream is to represent Australia at the Paralympics.
