According to his coach, Jashar is one of the star athletes in the Suncoast Spinners Wheelchair Basketball Program. Playing in B grade for the Sunshine Coast Spinners Tournament in 2013, 2014 and 2015, the fourteen-year-old hopes to one day represent Australia in the Paralympics for wheelchair basketball.

Jashar plans to fulfill his Paralympic dream by continuing training at his local club every Wednesday night and also travelling into Brisbane once a week for training, so that he can compete in as many competitions as possible to improve his skills.

Born with spina bifida, Jashar was invited to try out the sport by Queensland Spinning Bull ets player, Jake Fulwood. His strong work ethic, demeanour and willingness to try new things on court is a key reason as to why he is bound for short and long terms success, as said by his coach, Jeremy.
