Noah, 11, began swimming competitively after his coach noticed his potential during his surf lifesaving training. Since then, Noah has competed successfully in both multi-class events for swimmers with a disability and in able-bodied competition, despite being born without his right hand and wrist. He made the State Primary School Swimming team and qualified for two able-bodied state finals in the 200m IM and 100m butterfly. Noah, from Sorrento, is aiming to compete at the Georgina Hope Nationals in 2015 and the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Noah’s motto is “Dream it. Believe it. Achieve it. Work hard. Stay positive.”
